Yassine Ibork joined the AIMS Lab and the School of Computing at Wichita State University in Spring 2025 as a PhD student. His research focuses on developing novel algorithms for connected and autonomous vehicles by incorporating modern machine learning techniques, such as reinforcement learning and federated learning. He earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Al Akhawayn University in Morocco. In his free time, Yassine enjoys playing soccer and pickleball.

Nhat Ha Nguyen
PhD Student

Ha joined the AIMS Lab and the School of Computing at Wichita State University in Fall 2025. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, with a focus on applying reinforcement learning in healthcare. Prior to starting her PhD, she served as a Research Assistant on a space manufacturing project sponsored by NASA. Additionally, she has worked as a Data Product Manager for biotech startups in the United States and for a fintech company in Vietnam. Ha earned her bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from New York University.
